1. Data We Collect

CourtAlert collects the following information to provide the court availability alert service:

  • Email address — used to authenticate your account via Google OAuth or email one-time code.
  • Location — used when you search for venues near you. We do not store your location persistently.
  • Push notification subscription — a browser push subscription token used to deliver court availability alerts to your device.
  • Alert preferences — venues, days, and time windows you configure for notifications.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to operate the CourtAlert service: matching your alert preferences against court availability and sending you notifications when a matching slot appears. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Retention

We retain your account data and alert preferences for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page, which will permanently remove your data from our systems within 30 days.

CourtAlert uses the following third-party services:

  • Google OAuth — for sign-in. Subject to Google Privacy Policy.
  • Turso — database hosting for account and preference data. Data is stored in the EU region.
  • AWS — backend compute infrastructure (Lambda, DynamoDB). Data is processed in the EU region.
  • Stripe — payment processing for premium subscriptions. We do not store payment card data; Stripe handles it directly.
